The Millionaire’s Gamble
Sarah Ballance
Release Date: July 11, 2016
Genre: contemporary romance

Wealth has a price. Everyone wants something from you. For one woman, that something was my DNA. One minute, she was kissing me like we were going to strip it down and go at it. And the next, she was ripping out my hair for a paternity test—and threatening to torpedo my latest deal. I don't play these kind of games. And that damnably sexy woman with the alluring eyes and mistaken agenda is about to learn that the hard way…

Millionaire scion Jagger Hamilton didn't father Kennedy Price's nephew. That doesn't mean he can't use the situation to his advantage. She wants him to take a paternity test. He wants her in his bed.

He shouldn't.

She's blackmailing him, and she's playing dirty. He could try to use the famous Hamilton charm to turn her into a powerful ally… But she makes him feel… Way. Too. Much.

Kennedy Price isn't asking much. Just for the powerful, sinfully hot, and notorious playboy to be a decent human being. But he's used to using that filthy, sensual mouth for getting what he wants.

And he wants her.

She’s determined not to fall for him. But there's no avoiding his charisma, or his bed, where she threatens to lose more than the standoff between them. She just might lose her heart.

Jagger wasn’t prone to shouting. He didn’t get excited. He just got shit done, and he didn’t have to beg. This thing with Logan wouldn’t have been any kind of exception if Kennedy Price hadn’t walked into his life, yanked out his hair, and set fire to him.
But she had.
And he’d just given her every reason in the world to walk away from him, but she hadn’t. She just stood there, looking at him. Maybe she’d forgotten which way the exit was. Maybe, if he had an ounce of self-preservation left, he should show her.
He could have sworn that was the plan when he stepped out of the hot tub, but instead of walking past her and throwing open the doors that would give him back his life, he stopped. And he watched her gaze drift to his mouth, where it lingered.
He didn’t even meet her eyes. He just closed in on that sweet, filthy little mouth of hers and tasted. And she didn’t resist an inch as he walked her backward, kissing her, dripping water across the suite to the bedroom, dampening her dress and he hoped something else in the process. He managed to strip her of the garment, though he couldn’t have guessed where it landed when he flung it.
“Is this your usual?” she managed to ask, despite his best intentions of devouring her.
He tugged the tips of her hair, baring her neck, tasting. She was far more delectable than the champagne he’d just slung all over the place, though the sweet remnants of the latter had him thinking about tasting something else entirely. Painted in a crimson light from the fading, fiery sunset, everything about that woman was a waving red flag he had no trouble seeing through the neon glow, but for once he didn’t heed warnings, and he sure as fuck didn’t answer her question.
He kissed her down to the bed. Had it not been for the promise of what was to come, he would have stayed on the mattress with her, but temporarily abandoning her would be well worth the reward. He removed what was left of her clothing, then stepped out of his trunks and managed to get a condom on in the same thirty seconds, and then he dedicated just enough time to make sure she was ready before he dived in.
“Shit,” she gasped. And it was the only breath he gave her before he did it again.

Sarah and her husband of what he calls “many long, long years” live on the mid-Atlantic coast with their six young children, all of whom are perfectly adorable when they’re asleep. She never dreamed of becoming an author, but as a homeschooling mom, she often jokes she writes fiction because if she wants anyone to listen to her, she has to make them up. As it turns out, her characters aren’t much better than the kids, but nevertheless, you’ll find her writing sexy contemporary romance for Entangled Publishing until they throw her out.
